Account Representative – Hillsborough NC

Redeye is hiring a full-time Account Representative in Hillsborough, NC.

As the exclusive distributor for a growing family of independent record labels, it is vital to our business that our sales team are the voice of Redeye, and exemplify the independent spirit for which Redeye is known the world over. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

This role consists of duties primarily focused on growing the sales of Redeye’s physical account base. As an Account Representative to hundreds of Redeye customers, this role involves educating the assigned account base on both new and catalog releases, securing consistent orders, facilitating the set up of new accounts, and implementing marketing activities designed to increase exposure for the artists and labels Redeye represents. Our ideal candidate will have both sales and customer service experience, as well as a strong passion for the music and labels we distribute.

Want to learn about all aspects of the music industry?  Now’s the time to find out! Redeye offers internships at our offices in Hillsborough, NC. As an intern with us, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of working at an independent, international distributor. You’ll get to know the basics of music marketing and publishing, as well as all of the work that goes on behind the scenes to get a release from the artist and label to the record store, digital platforms, and consumers. You’ll leave with experience using digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Business, as well as our suite of internal reporting tools. Oh, and you might just attend a show or two.
We’re seeking detail-oriented, hard-working, and eager-to-learn music lovers to intern with us for 15-18 hours per week during the fall, spring, or summer semesters. This is an unpaid position.
